Remio Host turns your Windows PC into a streaming target that any Remio client (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, Windows) can connect to over the local network or the internet. Built from scratch with native WinUI 3 - no Electron, no browser wrappers. Full GPU-accelerated H.264/H.265 screen capture, loopback audio, multi-monitor support, drag-and-drop file transfer, clipboard sync, and gamepad passthrough. Runs as a Windows Service so it survives reboots and log-offs. Includes built-in auto-updates via WinSparkle (EdDSA-signed end-to-end), so you always have the latest version with one click.

Release Notes

Remio Host 2.2.3 - reliability release: the host now takes care of itself when things go wrong, instead of waiting for you to restart it.

  • The host can no longer get stuck "Ready" but unreachable - in rare cases it ignored every connection attempt until a manual restart. It now detects this state and recovers automatically within minutes.
  • Fixed a frozen or near-frozen picture after the screen sat idle - the stream could drop to a 1-second slideshow for the rest of the session. The host now revives the stalled capture on its own.
  • Fixed a crash during rapid reconnects on flaky networks.
  • Fixed a crash triggered by screen readers and accessibility tools scanning the Remio Host window.
  • Fixed a crash when closing the app with the tray icon turned off.
