• Traffic: There is a new National Highways traffic provider that has replaced the Highways England provider. You will need to register a new account with National Highways to get your "Subscription Key" that you then need to enter into the Station Settings window on the Location/SmartInfo tab. • Important Stream playback changes: Due to the fix to the issue noted below with Stream Playback become unstable after any stream delays, the Media Engine now uses a different calculation for how much of a stream to buffer before playing the stream. If you are using Streams to play time critical events then you MUST re-confirm any allowances you have made for the time delay of the stream as the end-to-end delay may have changed slightly. Log Playback:
• Myriad now also checks each member of a List item to make sure they are not Hour Restricted themselves from being played in the Scheduled Hour that contains the parent list. Previously this was only checked when Myriad Schedule was considering placing the item itself directly within the Schedule Log. Media Update Wizard:
• You can now apply a visual filter to the Summary grid before importing to review the information that will be imported. Clock Editing:
• Chain Type: When clicking the Chain Type for Media Items (including AI Voice Links) you can now cycle through various Auto/Stop/Sweep options rather that just flipflopping between Auto and Stop. Reports:
• Log Discrepancy Report: This report now shows information about songs that were Dropped due to AutoTrim and you can now filter the results. Layout Editor:
• Media Players: There is a new "Show 'Jump to this Media Item...' right click menu option" so you choose to show/hide the right click menu option that allows you to jump to that media item on the Media Grid View. The following issues have been fixed:
• Media Players: Media items with Scheduling Hour restrictions could not be manually played when dragged into a Media Player during those hours.
• Media Players: The button to open the item in the Player in the Media Preview was sometimes disabled until you had loaded as second item into the player.
• Media Import Wizard and Update Wizard: Type information was not correctly being imported from spreadsheets, and the Type column was missing from the summary information grid.
• Media Playback: In very rare situations, Players would sometimes skip over an item that was due to be timestretched.
• Media Playback: Stream playback was not correctly resuming buffered playback after a delay in receiving buffers leading to regular pauses in audio playback.
• Log Playback: After changing Station you could not start the log via the "Start/Stop" button until after you had selected a location in the Log View.
• SmartInfo: Welsh language traffic processing would not correctly process some dates from the welsh traffic provider.
• Scheduling: Scheduling a Media Packet that contains items, but where none of those are marked as being able to be Scheduled could result in unscheduled positions being left in the Scheduled log.
• Scheduling: When switching Station Rules in the middle of a Clock, you could end up with unscheduled categories if the new Rules included weightings for empty Categories.
• Advert Scheduling: If you re-scheduled the adverts for the current day for any hour after the current hour, then some advert breaks were wrongly being unscheduled but not re-populated.
• Scheduled Log Import: Importing Advert Log files and legacy format Music Logs would not correctly import some characters from some non-english language character sets.
• Replication: Replicating Media Items could reset any Overall Start Times that were set on items if it had been deliberately set away from the start of the audio.
• Preferences: Some preference options were not being displayed on some faster performance workstations.
